Feenie’s Feline Love exists to reduce loneliness by supporting the powerful bond between seniors and cats where companionship, comfort, and care flow both ways. Many seniors are living on limited incomes while caring for animals who bring them purpose, routine, and connection. Through compassionate, practical support, you can help ease the cost of food, supplies, and veterinary care so these relationships can continue with dignity and peace of mind.

A Legacy of Love and Companionship
Feenie’s Feline Love was inspired by my beloved Aunt Josephine, lovingly known as Aunt Feenie. She lived independently and cared for stray and feral cats in and around her home well into her late nineties. Growing up, I witnessed the incredible love, comfort, and sense of purpose those cats brought to her life and how deeply she loved them in return.
After her passing in 2025, I felt called to continue her legacy by helping other seniors experience that same companionship. Choosing the name for this initiative was especially meaningful. I smiled when I learned that feline could describe qualities such as grace, agility, and strength, qualities that described my Aunt Feenie perfectly.
Feenie’s Feline Love is a community initiative. While we are not currently a registered charity, all contributions directly support seniors and their feline companions.

Ways You Can Help:
It costs approximately $500 to place a senior with a feline companion, covering adoption, veterinary care, and a starter supply kit. For ongoing costs, we support seniors with up to $30 per month.
